These are preliminary background and character studies, although I'm pretty set on the look of Cilley. For the background I might to flatten it out even more, and maybe exaggerate the patterned look by making it look too big for the wall. That would make it stand out more. I also don't think Cilley would be much of a housekeeper so I want the wallpaper to look kind of gritty and old.
